I had an enjoyable time sharing with you the two videos from the One-in-eight-million section in the New York Times. I particularly like the idea because we get to hear about the highs and lows and ups and downs of the run of the mill people, which is a nice break from the “celebrities” topic which has kept us busy for the last few days. In addition, I cant help but marvel at the quality and intensity of the black and white pictures that accompany these stories and I encourage you to browse through them. Great listening material in terms of both quantity and quality. You may click on the picture below to access the site

It’s a good idea, and really interesting for us, in adition it’s beautiful to see these black and white pictures. On the other hand I must say that everybody in our class thinks that is pretty hard to be able to understand at fisrt bite. Anyway trying once and again, you end up understanding almost everything. But please don’t choose any of these “chapters” for our listening test….
