When I heard Enrique I was listening to myself singing in my bath ! (another kind of songs of course, but in the same awful way). To be honest I’ve heard about that before, and I think it could be true. Anyway I can assure you that there are many more singers who do playback, specially on TV. Let me tell you a real story about this: Last month on a Italian TV, English band Muse had to sing a song and the band wanted to sing live, but the show’s director didn’t want, so the band was made to sing playback… and they did, but as a protest the member of the band changed their instruments, so the singer played drums, the bass sang, the guitar played bass… it was very funny….you can see this show here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tn2qKraB1lQ.

I did get a chance to see the whole movie online already. Yes, he was an outstanding dancer, performer, whatever… Still, it didn’t move me. Overrated when he was alive and even more so now.

It’s a good and embarrasing question…. but unluckily we just can say that in our country to become an important politician you should have other kind of “vitues” or “Skills”, I mean, let me tell about the manual of a Spanish politician, page 145 to 151: “You must have a strong face”, “to be good at taking advantage of it’s doesn’t matter what”, “to be good at telling tales” , “to be good at acting” and of course ” don’t be aware of anything”…. well if you take a look a this manual, in the page 189 says: Don’t worry about languages, there are a lot of interpreters, it would be really hard to learn English or French, you should be worry about earn money as fast as you can, your position is not forever…”
The fisrt thing that we should do is to burn this manual…shouldn’t we?

Look im from Spain and i am so sorry of this stupid president that we have “Zapatero” and his halloween girls.What a bad imagen of Spain gives this.

We have to acknowledge that they’re above all, BRAVE….. but unluckily they’re representing the Spaniards.
Someone should tell them: “please speak just Spanish, don’t try to speak in an unintellible language because it seems that you’re copying “Chiquito de la Calzada”.
Anyway I would like to propose that every student in our High School gives one euro in order to pay the enrolment of Aznar and Zapatero in a School language….. I’m absolutely embarrassed.

There is a mistake.

The Kingdom of Aragon as was internationally known the Crown of Aragon, was not at the foot of the Pyrenees in the present Spain, since the Pyrenees beacame frontier breaking the links of the Catalan Origins (the French Catalogne and the lost ancient Occitan community today) only when the Treaty of the Pyrenees was signed in 1659.

This mystery will never be unveiled. I’ve even heard the man came from Scotland, which would actually make sense. He would have then been looking for a nicer climate to have a wee sun tan, far away from the pissing rain in auld bonnie Scotland.
