Top Spanish singer Melendi has been arrested on public order charges for events on an Iberia flight from Madrid to Mexico. The singer attacked a steward who refused to serve him more alcohol considering him drunk, and the Capitan decided to turn back for Madrid considering that security on the 12 hour flight could not be guaranteed, given the ‘aggressive and violent’ behaviour of the passenger.

The singer was released after making a statement to the judge in Madrid.

The other 180 passengers on the flight finally set off for Mexico again the following morning.

A statement from his record company said that Melendi was now ‘resting’. Fans sites claim the singer has a fear of flying.

You are very polite when you call Melendi “Top Spanish singer”, I think He’s a very bad singer ( in fact I think he’s like a modern Manolo Escobar)….. and of course about his education, I’m not going to say anything else…
I know other situations like this…. Rolling Stones, Guns and Roses, Foo Figthers, etc…. but at least these groups were “Top” in the world…. in my opinion of course.
Anyway I think he should pay for everthing, because I listened to the passengers and they weren’t very happy with him.
